Nebraska Friends of Foster Kids Annual Gala 10-16-09
We were happy to be part of the Nebraska Friends of Foster Kids Annual Gala again this year! The event was held on October 16th, 2009 at the Scoular Ballroom. Passed Hors D’oeuvres, Buffet Dinner, and Dessert Station with guests dressed to the 80’s Theme and dancing into the night with the likes of Madonna and Culture Club. Last year included Chef Jeff Snow as 80’s TV Hit: Magnum P.I.! For more information about Nebraska Friends of Foster Children, check out the NFFC website.
Here are some photos from this year. Our lovely Event Coordinator, Jackie Brown enjoyed the evening wearing her 80’s style blue eyeshadow and VERY BIG HAIR. She even tells us that when her mother saw her that night, she told Jackie that she looked just like she did when she was in school!
Some of this year’s passed hors d’oeuvres in the photo below are (left to right): Smoked Salmon Rillette in Belgium Endive, Mini Potato Canapé’s with an Olive Tapenade, and Risotto Croquettes with Red Pepper Aioli.
